How To: Get Ready Anywhere (Morning Edition)

Hey, beautiful!

Today we’re going to talk about how to easily get ready in the morning, especially when you’re in a different setting than normal because you have very little to work with. I’m going to give you some tips that will get you ready and out of the door in just minutes!

Whether it’s an unplanned slumber party with girlfriends, a date night gone right or you simply forgot your makeup bag while traveling (nightmare!), I’ve learned a few tricks to help you look your best when these situations come your way.

*Tame your hair: you’ve probably woken up with tangled tresses that look like a mess, so comb your hair. Chances are you have bobby pins or a hair tie somewhere in your bags, so throw your hair in a bun or ponytail.

*Remove last night’s remnants: you probably have raccoon eyes at this point, so search for the gentlest lotion you can find and apply it with a cotton ball or Q-tip as a makeshift makeup remover.

*Smudge purposefully: if step 2 wasn’t successful, wet a Q-Tip with water and use it to smudge around your lash line and distribute any leftover eyeliner or eye shadow. This is going to make the mess seem like a little less of a mess…

*Add some color: apply lipstick to your lips, then make your lipstick work double duty as a cream blush. Apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks and blend well.

*Spritz away: if you have a little sample-size perfume bottle, spray it and shimmy through it. And if you don’t have your own but a guy’s perfume is around, don’t be afraid to lightly spritz before you head out the door; it will leave you feeling fresh!

Now that you’ve got these tips, people won’t even notice you stayed over because you’ll be looking so fresh just like nothing happened!

Don’t forget to come back this Friday to check out some masks you can easily do at home to help treat your acne!

Bye, beautiful!
