Stress: How To Reduce It

Hey, beautiful!

Today I'm going to give you some easy tips you can apply to your everyday life to reduce stress.

We all know stress can be really bad and it can take a serious toll in our life, with these tips you'll hopefully reduce the amount of stress in your life and everything will be easier. Plus, you'll feel better once some stress is gone!

*Beauty-rest tips: some handy tricks to ensure that when it's bed time, you'll  fall asleep quickly.

1. Get the TV out of your bedroom, this way you won't have the temptation to turn it on.

2. Install blackout shades to block out any light shining through in the morning.

3. Count your blessings (or sheep!).

4. Keep a boring book by your bed, this will make you sleepy.

5. If all else fails, take a melatonin supplement. This is a hormone that our body produces to help us sleep, the supplement is natural. Be sure to talk to your doctor first, especially if you're under 16.

*You time and de-stressing time: some survival strategies for caving out the room to be by yourself.

1. Keep headphones in your purse in case you get a chance to jam to music and chill.

2. If you have a dog, take it for walks. And if you don't, go out for a walk by yourself.

3. Schedule downtime, this means having a couple minutes/hours to just be lazy around the house.

4. Adopt a solo hobby (drawing, writing, photography, etc.)

These are some easy tips you can do to reduce the amount of stress that you have right now in your life. If some of the stress is off, you'll feel/look better and even others will notice the change!
