Learn how to make your foundation last longer, what key product to keep in your makeup bag, how to save blending time and how to correctly use shimmer. Just keep on reading and you’ll be one step closer to that flawless makeup look you always go for!
1. Long lasting foundation: applying a moisturizer before putting on foundation helps all the products you use later stay longer. You can even use a moisturizer that has a built-in primer to improve the look, have the effect of a primer and moisturize your skin all at the same time!
2. Brushes for concealer: it is recommended you keep two brushes on standby to apply your under-eye concealer. It’s much better if you use a flat brush before using your ring finger to pat and blend in the edges.
3. Key product: you should always keep any form of a concealer in your makeup bag in case you need to retouch a blemish or just brighten up your face and look.
4. Save some blending time: you can do this by pressing brush heads into your palms first. After loading your brush with product, press its head into your palm several time to force the powder into the bristles and to distribute it more evenly; ultimately saving you blending time.
5. Play with shimmer: temper the high-shine finish by layering a matte product directly on top of your shimmer.
