Beauty Tips And Tricks For The Athletic Girl

Hey, beautiful!

Today I’m going to give you some tips and tricks to look great those days we hit the gym. We always want to look our best at all times, but the gym is certainly not the best place to go with our face full of makeup… some have learned that the hard way.

Just like during the summer when it’s really hot, makeup comes off so easily and it smears easier with heat and humidity when we’re working out and sweating. The key to this is to have breathable makeup. Keep on reading to find some easy ways to look presentable and don’t end up looking like a mess after working out!

1. Skip the foundation: this will let your pores breathe when you’re working out. If you really need to do so, cover up any little imperfections with a concealer that matches your skin tone, with a sheer tinted moisturizer or with a light BB/CC cream.

2. Use a tint for your lips: a tinted lip balm is the best way to add some colors to your lips without it being so noticeable.

3. Use little to no mascara: I personally prefer to not wear mascara because I find it smudges very easily when I work out. But if you do opt to wear some mascara, wear very little and I would recommend only on your top lashes.

4. Frame your face: do this by filling in your eyebrows. However, this is an optional step. If you use a brow pencil, try finding one that is wax-based because it will be more water resistant.

5. Pull your hair up: I definitely wouldn’t recommend going to work out with your hair down, it will get so dirty and it’ll just be a problem while you’re working out. Put it up in a cute ponytail or do a simple braid.

6. Wear big shades: this is especially if you want to hide the fact that you’re wearing very little makeup.

7. Stay clean: keep a bag filled with goodies that will help you feel fresher after a workout. Keep products such as face wipes, a compact powder, hand sanitizer and a deodorant.

8. Stay hydrated: always keep a bottle of water in your bag!

I hope these tips were helpful and that you’ll be the prettiest and put-together girl at the gym next time you go there! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask in the comments section below.

Bye, beautiful!
