Skin Course: Bad Things For Your Skin

Today I'm going to talk to you about the worst things for our skin that most of us do but don’t realize how bad they can be and the problems they can cause.

As said before, taking care of your skin is very important. Take a look at these things we often do and should be avoided.

*Sun: contrary to popular belief, baking in the sun doesn’t clear up acne; it might actually exacerbate the problem. Don’t forget to always apply SPF on your chest, neck and hands. You don’t need to pull out the SPF 45 and you shouldn’t avoid the sun, anything in the SPF 15 to 30 range is enough for everyday use.

*Smoking: this is just another way to destroy your face. You’ll get wrinkles around your mouth and smoking speeds up the aging process of the skin.

*Dehydration: drink plenty of water and your skin cells will be plump and healthy.

*Picking at your face: doing this will only exacerbate whatever’s going on there. Make sure to keep your phone and glasses clean because they can harbor bacteria that you don’t want near your face.

Apart from taking full care of your skin with SPF, don’t neglect your lips. Add a lip balm with SPF to your collection and you’ll be covered.

These are all things a lot of people do and can damage their skin. Be sure to stay hydrated and protect your skin with SPF at all times.
