Fitness and Food: Fitness Tips

Today I'm giving you some fitness tips that you can incorporate to your routine.

Growing up, we were all very active and involved in sports. Nowadays, it's harder to find that hour in a day you can devote to exercise. We're all guilty of letting our jobs, homework, relationships and other responsibilities come before our physical health, when this is as important as everything else.

Finding an exercise plan that works the best with your schedule and sticking to it, can be challenging. Here are some tips that could get you moving:

1. If you're not a fan of intense exercise, consider investing in a pedometer to keep track of your steps every day. Set a realistic goal and meet it.

2. You'll always have your best success sticking to an exercise plan if you have someone else to do it with. So have a friend workout with you!

3. Music can be a huge motivator, even more if you're struggling through a long run.

4. Get outside. The great upside of exercising outside is that you're challenging your body to react to the obstacles in its path.

5. Build up an exercise-DVD and do it in your living room.

6. If you get the chance, take the stairs instead of taking the elevator. This is an easy way to exercise.
