Stress: What You Need To Know

Hey, beautiful!

Today we're going to talk about stress, there are just going to be two posts about it because it really sums up to some basic stuff.

Stress not only poisons your body, it can affect pretty much every area of your life and it messes with everything. It can agitate your skin, your hair, your nails and it can even make you gain some weight.

It can be a form of addiction, meaning some people don't know how to live without anxiety (stress can be the pulse-quickening factor that drives them, at unhealthy speeds, through life.)

Stress can be great if you really are in danger and need to flee, because it causes the release of some extra adrenaline and cortisol, but it can be terrible when it happens on a regular basis.

Stress can cause your immune system to suffer,  it can exacerbate skin problems and you can become forgetful or depressed.

*Sleep deprivation

A general baseline recommendation for teens is 8-10 hours of sleep and for adults is 7-9 hours. Everyone has different sleeping patterns, the most important thing is that you get some sleep!

To get some tips on how to reduce stress come back this Wednesday!

Bye, beautiful!
