Tips For Faster Makeup Application

Hey, beautiful!

Let’s face it, whether it’s planned or not, some mornings we are so asleep that we don’t even know what we’re doing with our makeup so we always end up rushing through that door to get where we need to get in time.

Unfortunately, there’s no magic to make us look radiant, beautiful and ready to go in just seconds every morning. But, there are some tips that I’m going to give you today that will help you get ready faster!

If you want to know even more about how you can easily look put together in the morning, check out these 5 easy tips to improve your makeup and these tips on how to get ready anywhere, especially in the morning.

Here are some things you can do to save up some time in the morning:

*Plan ahead: select the outfit you’re going to wear the next morning and then plan you makeup look according to that. Lay your makeup where you’re going to do your makeup and this will definitely save you some time the following morning!

*Even out your complexion: use a foundation or BB cream if you need it or just apply concealer to hide blemishes and create a nice canvas to work on. Bring a stick concealer in your bag for any touch-ups throughout the day.

*Pick your top three products: concentrate on applying the products that you consider are the most important. Also, focus on your best features and enhance them instead of spending a lot of time hiding the problem areas.

*Stick to the basics: stick with neutrals for the eyeshadow, if you mess up it’s not as noticeable. Unless you’re a pro with the liquid/gel eyeliner, skip it and line the water line if you want.

*Touch up on the go: apply the necessary products like foundation at your place so that if you live in a city and you take the subway/bus/train, you can apply the rest of your makeup during the commute and this will save some major time! If you’re driving and in a rush, DO NOT do your makeup while on the go; it’s not worth the risk. Instead, apply what you can at your place (without looking like a clown…) and bring the rest of your makeup in a bag to apply it later once you get to your destination.

*Healthy lifestyle: the key to not having too many blemishes or dark circles to hide in the morning is by having healthy habits. If you eat healthy food, sleep more and drink lots of water, your face is more likely to look radiant.

I hope these tips will keep you ahead of the game even if you oversleep in the morning. If you have tips of your own and that are helpful, share below! Thanks for reading!
